       I feel it is important for us to be lifting our prayers to God so that the Lord Jesus Christ can actually to be informed as to what we would like him to specifically pray for. It’s not that he doesn’t know already, but God tells us to tell him what our needs are. Philippians 4:6 states, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” (ESV). This is a part that we have to play. Nevertheless, I think once we do let God know what our needs and desires are, Jesus will intercede to the Father on behalf of those things. It’s not that Jesus just intercedes for us at the time we have an emergency or something like that. I believe he prays for us no matter what our concern, need, or desire is. It’s important that no matter how long we wait for our favorable response, that we are thanking God in the waiting time. Our thankful attitude toward God allows God to work in our lives.
