       If we are a Christ follower, we are following Christ. If we are following Christ, then we must believe in him and agree with what he says. We must be seeking to be doing what our head, who is Christ, is pleased with. And bringing this back to our discussion on sin, that means that if Christ thinks something is a sin, shouldn’t we? Shouldn’t we be seeking to eliminate any sin in us that Christ says is a sin? Our goal is to please Jesus. That’s what we want to do. That’s one reason we have decided to follow him. That doesn’t mean there won’t be struggles. That doesn’t mean either that their won’t be a time when you disagree with him about something. That’s only normal. There are going to be things you don’t see eye to eye on. But our goal is to bring our thoughts into alignment with his thoughts. Our goal is not to please others, whether Christian or non-Christian.
