We come today then to the final moments of our current world setup, phase two, you might call it, in the history of the world. Let’s briefly review these world phases. Phase one was when God originally created the world (some 6,000 years ago), and we saw how he accomplished this in Genesis 1 by speaking it into existence. And that world grew large in number, some theologians estimating it to be about seven billion people by the Great Flood, the Flood of Noah. As the world had become so wicked by the days of Noah, God decided that he was going to destroy it, and yet save the human race through Noah and his family. And he told him to build an Ark, and God used that ark to save the people and animals, two of every kind, who boarded it. And, as an aside, this is probably where we see the death of the dinosaurs (as for whatever reason, they may have not boarded the ark. They could have been taken as infants or small dinosaurs; we really don't know for sure).
